The Marysville PTA Council
Cindy Evans Award honors Cindy Evans, a long time Marysville resident, MSD
educational assistant, and Marysville PTA Leader. During her lifetime, she was an inspiration
to many as she continued to work for, and about, children; despite the fact that
she was battling a disease that would eventually take her life, but not her
spirit. Cindy inspired others to
continue to advocate for all children, to stay positive, and be involved in
PTA. "It was her spirit of always
doing whatever she could, in spite of the obstacles in her way, we will always
remember."
